For healthy babies we advise to visit for a comprehensive preventive program which include –Periodic assessment of children’s growth , nutritional status & development. It also helps in scheduling their immunization & addressing parental concern like feeding , bathing, massage, frequency of urine & stool, growth, developmental- milestones, teething & nutrition etc. This counseling provides sufficient time for educating parents for caring their babies during sick period e.g. Fever control, care of hydration, monitoring in urine output &reliving nasal blockage etc.
We educate parents in assessing danger signs in their children, advise on breast feeding practice, weaning practices , diet & Nutrition. This clinic also gives an opportunity to screen the children for early signs to diseases like anemia, heart murmur, underweight, obesity. We conduct children’s behavioral assessment & counsel them on child psychology & child behavior related problems.
